A 740 mile run across the state of NC to raise money in the fight against cancer

Scott Adams will be running across the State of NC using Bike Route #2 from Murphy to Manteo a total distance of 740 miles in 18 days. This run is dedicated to those who have fought the fight and those who continue to fight against this disease.

5am

SUCCESSFUL FINISH FOR RUN NC!

Congratulations to Scott Adams, who successfully completed his running journey across the state of North Carolina, finishing at 2:20 p.m. Friday, June 13. Presently, Scott is enjoying a meal hosted by friends and plans to update us soon on the details of his last day's trek.

Penultimate Day

I must be honest. This morning was hard. I am not sure whether it was the knowing that I was only two days away from finishing or whether I truly hit some plateau. My arms seemed achy. My right leg forced me to grimace with each step because of an Achilles problem and a knee problem.
